Chris advises, writes and presents on professional firm strategy, operations and transformation via a portfolio of retained and NED roles, including as the legal strategy lead for project consultancy Nine Feet Tall and as KPMG''s ambassador for professional practices. One of the busiest speakers and writers on the business of law, Chris chairs and co-produces major legal conferences in Europe and the US and is the author of a series of books and reports on law firm operations.
As COO and Chief Executive of UK lawyers Osborne Clarke, Chris was in the first wave of business professionals in law firm leadership roles. He followed that with an international COO role at legal process outsourcing firm Integreon. Since 2011 he has advised on the creation of a string of new entrant Alternative Business Structures (ABS) including LegalZoom, KPMG, DAS Law and Jordans, as well as advising many top 100 UK law firms.
