Dr George Margrove & Oliver Anderson

10x Psychology

George is Principal Psychologist for 10x Psychology and has over fifteen years of experience in applying psychology research and practice to better understand and improve people’s experiences of work.

A chartered occupational psychologist, George completed his PhD in stress, job satisfaction, and coping from Cardiff University in 2008, having previously completed degrees at Edinburgh and Nottingham Universities, and the London School of Economics. He is the author of a number of academic papers (as George Mark), including on the influential DRIVE model of stress.

George is an expert in employee engagement, organisational culture, and wellbeing, and has worked as a subject matter expert with some of the world’s biggest brands (including Mercedes, Google, Virgin Atlantic, Marks & Spencer, British Red Cross, TJX). At 10x Psychology, George helps to drive the development of new psychology products, around the areas of performance, employee experience, and individual and organisational wellbeing.


Oliver is the Research and Product Development Director at 10x Psychology. Within his role, he skilfully applies people analytics techniques to psychometric data and products. His specialist areas of interest are in predictive hire, values fit and leadership evaluation and development.

Oliver is a thought leader in the application of data analytics within HR, and has extensive analytics, people and change management experience from holding senior HR leadership roles across the private and public sectors.

A triple graduate, he was initially educated at Reading University (BSc Statistics and MSc Biometrics) and later at Portsmouth University (MSc Human Resources). Oliver’s high-end numerical skills, award winning solutions and private sector experience fuelled his rapid advancement through sequential operational leadership roles and into the highest levels of HR Management.
